Steel Panther
Why’s that? I just don’t think they’re funny. But then again, I hardly ever laugh without forcing it, and when I do guffaw for reals, other people are usually cringing.
I mean, if Steel Panther are humorous, it’s in a very obvious fucking way. Too obvious, from where I am standing.
They’re a walking, talking, music-playing, bad pun-making dick joke you’ve heard a billion times before, and I await they day when everyone else wises up and stops supporting them.
Until then, Steel Panther will continue to make noise.
Now, the band’s booked two three-night residencies — one in Los Angeles and one in Vegas, where I first witnessed their stage show.
They will be playing each city’s respective House Of Blues venue.
The shows will be spread out through the month of February.
